I love the story of Raggedy Ann! It brought tears to my eyes. It's a beautiful story of love, and I loved the way you tied it into how God writes love on our hearts! Your insights into God's Word are a true blessing. It's amazing to think of Jesus's great love for us, and to know that the Bible is His love letter.
I love the history behind the Raggedy Ann doll. What a sweet story! The Bible is such a wonderful love letter. One of my favorite verses is perfect for a Valentine—Romans 5:7-10 “For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.” That gives me an idea… We could create some Valentines cards with Bible verses written on them and pass them out to people we come across this coming week. I’m inspired!
I love these informational snippets of history melded with the truths and supremacy of God's love for mankind. Thank you for this sweet, smiley story. :)
Another uplifting story and life lesson....thank you!
